A Marshall, Missouri convenience store clerk has stepped forward with the winning ticket for the $258.5 million Powerball jackpot from the April 21, 2010 drawing.
According to published reports, Chris Shaw is an employee at the Break Time convenience store where the winning ticket was sold. His ticket was the only one to match all five numbers and the Powerball to win the $258.5 million jackpot.
The winning numbers were 11, 34, 41, 49, and 55; the Powerball was 20 and the Power Play was 2. The jackpot goes back to $20 million for the Saturday, April 24, 2010 drawing. The odds of winning the Powerball jackpot are 1:195,249,054.
The $258.5 million jackpot is the largest jackpot prize ever won in Missouri and the 10th largest Powerball jackpot ever won nationwide.
