The ticket was sold at Hub Carry Out in Sunbury, which is about 20 miles north of Columbus, OH. This is the first Powerball jackpot winner in Ohio, which just began selling Powerball tickets on April 16, 2010. No one has stepped forward yet to claim the prize.
A Nampa, ID man yesterday claimed his $347,175 jackpot from the May 29, 2010 Wild Card 2 drawing. Kenneth Redmon received his check at the Gem Stop in Nampa, the store where he purchased the ticket. Redmon, who plans to continue working part-time, will use the money to pay off some bills, encourage his wife to retire, and play more golf.
