Pollock man wins $20,000 Dakota Cash jackpot

For Immediate Release: 5/4/2004

(Pierre) - Ronald Jacobson of Pollock won the April 21st Dakota Cash jackpot worth $20,000.

Jacobson used the dates of his grandchildren’s birthdays to pick his lucky numbers, a method he uses for each drawing. He purchased his ticket at M & R Grocery in Pollock. The store will receive a $1,000 bonus for selling the jackpot-winning tickets.

Dakota Cash is South Dakota’s very own lotto game and is played only in South Dakota. Jacobson is the 88th player to win the Dakota Cash jackpot since the game began in 1993.
