A single ticket sold in Georgia hit the $76 million Powerball jackpot in the June 29, 2011 drawing. The lucky ticket holder matched all six numbers drawn which were 24, 30, 45, 57 and 59, and the Powerball which was 26. Power Play was 3.
Two tickets, one each in the District of Columbia and Kansas, matched five of five white ball numbers but missed the Powerball to win the $200,000 second prize.
The Powerball jackpot starts again at $20 million for the next drawing on Sat., July 2, 2011. Currently the game is played in 42 states, the District of Columbia and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
