The $113 million Mega Millions jackpot from the September 30, 2011 drawing is being split by two winners. One winning ticket was sold in Greenville, North Carolina and the other was purchased in Cypress Park, California.
The winning numbers were 3, 19, 21, 44 and 45; the Megaball was 29 and the Megaplier was 4. The odds of winning the jackpot playing Mega Millions is 1:175,711,536. Thirteen players got all five white ball numbers but missed the Megaball to win the game's $250,000 second prize. Those winning tickets were sold in Arizona (2), California (3), Connecticut, Michigan, New York (2), Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas and Virginia.
The Mega Millions jackpot starts again at $12 million for the next drawing, coming up Tuesday, October 4, 2011.
