How To Claim
You can begin your mobile claim in a few easy steps! Please see our video tutorial and contact the Lottery if you have any questions.
- Open the SD Lottery mobile app on your device.
- Make sure that you are logged into your Players Club account. Only Players Club members are eligible for mobile claims.
- Select Scan Tickets. Make sure your device has granted camera permissions to the app.
- If your ticket has a prize from $101 and $5,000, you can select the mobile claim option.
- Complete your digital claim form. Please ensure that all information is accurate before submitting your claim.
- Your payment should be processed within 4 businesses days. It's important to note that your first transaction may take up to 8 business days.
- You can check the status of your claim on the app by clicking the Mobile Claims option from the main menu.
- Sign the back of your winning ticket and hold onto it until the claim is complete.
- Applicable documents such as your W2-G will be emailed to you.

What tickets are eligible for mobile claims?
Instant and lotto tickets with prizes from $101 and $5,000 are eligible for mobile claims.
When will I receive my prize?
Most claims are completed within 4 business days. Your first mobile claim may take 8 business days.
How are multi draw lotto tickets processed?
If you have a multi draw ticket with a prize eligible for a mobile claim, you must complete the mobile claim after all draws on the ticket have been completed.
What if I make an error on my claim form?
If there is an error on your claim form, Lottery staff will reach out to determine next steps. This may result in your prize being delivered via mail. Please make sure to check the summary screen to ensure that all of your information is correct.
