Hidden Gems

The South Dakota Lottery’s Hidden Gems Promotion will be conducted on the Lottery’s webpage, https://lottery.sd.gov/hidden-gems/.  South Dakotans 18 years and older may enter their email address for a chance to win various prizes through weekly drawings.

These guidelines have been prepared to ensure that the integrity of the South Dakota Lottery is maintained at all times.

The Executive Director of the South Dakota Lottery reserves the right to change and supersede any outlined procedures to handle unforeseen circumstances.

Giveaway Date:

The Hidden Gems Promotion will take place May 11 through July 3. The promotion will consist of weekly drawings on the following dates:

  • May 15, 2026
  • May 22, 2026
  • May 29, 2026
  • June 5, 2026
  • June 12, 2026
  • June 19, 2026
  • June 26, 2026
  • July 3, 2026

Prizes:

  • Week 1 – Lallycooler Music Festival (1 winner, 3 alternates)
  • Week 2 – Annual State Park Passes (2 winners, 5 alternates)
  • Week 3 – Tickets to Bear Country and Reptile Gardens (2 winners, 5 alternates)
  • Week 4 – Concert Tickets to Riley Green in Sioux Falls (2 winners, 5 alternates)
  • Week 5 – $100 Spotify Gift Card (1 winners, 5 alternates)
  • Week 6 - Concert Tickets to Zac Brown in Sioux Falls (2 winners, 5 alternates)
  • Week 7 – Retail Gift Cards (4 winners, 5 alternates)
  • Week 8 – Day Passes to Wild Water West Waterpark or Great Plains Zoo and Aquarium Family Summer membership (2 winners, 5 alternates)

GENERAL

  1. To be eligible for the drawing, the entrant must be 18 years or older.
  2. Entries will be accepted until the entry cutoff time of 11:59 m. CST the day prior to each drawing.
  3. Only one entry will be accepted per email address per day.
  4. Participants are limited to one prize win throughout the duration of the promotion. If a player wins a prize during a weekly drawing, their subsequent entries will be invalid.
  5. To enter, players should visit https://lottery.sd.gov/hidden-gems/ and enter their first name, last name, email address, and SD Hidden Gem.
  6. All entries are public record, and the South Dakota Lottery reserves the right to use entries for promotional purposes.
  7. After the cut off time, the South Dakota Lottery will conduct a drawing using a random number generator to determine the prize winners and alternates.
  8. Winners will have up to 3 business days to claim their prize.
  9. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Meta, Denny Sanford Premier Center or any of the prize retailers.
